Hi all,
I don't know if this is normal but my brakes whistle (either front or rear , not sure ) when decelerating to a stop ? I have gotten my rear rotors changed along with the pads at 15 000kms because they were defective and pulsating.

I beleive this started happening soon after the change but not sure...
Is it the cold ? I do very moderate driving from garage to work and back.

VW told me it's normal because of my driving , no real fix
I just believe it's not normal for the brakes to whistle this way at random

any thoughts

thx

The pads are either bad or not bedded well enough, find a nice safe place do some high speed stops, if that does not work check your rotors make sure they are smooth if not get them cut or replaced, don't bother with that brake quiet crap.

I've tried put my handbrake on ... no luck still whistling at times.
What will the high speed stop do ?

And if that doesn't work, you're saying to argue with VW

thx man
