Honestly, I wonder if those brake pad sensors are even worth the bother. I suspect if I had them I would have shorted the wires together a long time ago.

Could mean:
A: Malfunction
B: Your pads weren't really changed
c: You drive like me :) (You're not driving unless you can smell brakes while going uphill) :lol:

you can disable this light from ever coming back with a vagcom.

Look it up on Ross-tech site under A4 B5

instruments 17
recode
first 2 numbers of 5 digit code at usually 07
whatever they are, just remove 01 from them

so if you dont want to see it anymore, just set it to 06.

for ex.

your code was 07235
your new code 06235

if you dont have a vag-com find someone who does, it doesnt take long to do.

i changed 2 front pads and after 2-3 days it popped up for the first time. Since then it's been coming on everytime i start up the car. I don't know if the pads werent replaced properly but I will be takin git back to the mechanic.
