Hi buddies:(
I have B6 Volkswagen Passat.2007
I got some worries after I have bought some Mercedes wheels.  I live in Pa and have no good roads all around me. So my wheels are 18 inches And 8.5 fronts with ET36 and 9.5 rears with ET40. The wheels are from S class Mercedes.
I want to get tires 235/45/18 and 245/45/18. Please all B6 guys your ideas about rubbing with my set up!!!!!! :( I have stock B 6 not lowered.
I really want that set up and don't wanna go out of those specifications of tires. May be 255/40/18 on back. I know the wheels a big for the VW, but though I want them I'm worried about rubbing cause I don't need any.
I know that everybody has his own time, but please help!!:nervous:
I got sick from that set up. A lot of worries.
I value your time and any inputs.
Thanks guys!:(

Please let me know what's your offset on rims. And also what tire size are you planning to run?
Let me know also when u have already put them on and how it runs too.

What size of tires are you planing to run?
Where did you get those lug bolts for your wheels? Are they with a ball seat?
Also are they longer than stock?
215 35 19
bolts came with it
yes bolts are longer than stock... i wanted to use the stock and wanted to use the stock wheel locks but i didnt want to mess with the different lengths

i dont know your other questions
Maybe you should only have 1 thread on the subject and wait a little while for people to respond.

It;s so funny when someone reposts my promises.
I'll keep in mind my promises!
Thanks guys for not blaming on me too much
:hmmm:
I had a set of 19x8.5 et 35 with 245 width tires and it rubbed pretty bad. I have the H&R sport springs in though. A 9.5 wide wheel with a 40 et would be roughly equivalent to a 9 inch wide wheel with a 35 or 37 et. I'm pretty sure the guys who are running staggerd set-ups are in the 45 et range.
