but where did you mount it

how do you wire it

just ground it and run it to the car battery or did you use a fuse?


im looking at getting an air horn but i couldnt find a very good place to put it

You may want to put it behind the driver side head light or maybe on the behind the lower grille on the driver side of the car.

Remove the front bumper cover and put small L brackets on the inside of the plastic support right above the bumper. The horns (2 or 3) and compressor can hang vertically behind the bumper and in front of the radiator.

You can splice the 2 compressor wires needed right into the leads going to either factory horn at the corners. No extra relay needed. It then works off your regular horn button.

That's what I said. No extra relay necessary. The kits come with one but if you splice to the factory wires, it's not needed.

Then you need to wire them from scratch. It's simple so don't let the screwey instructions fool you.

Wire 1) Battery power > 20amp fuse > compressor
Wire 2) ground > switch > compressor.

The relay wasn't required when I did mine that way. Works perfect and loud as hell. I did a dead pedal mounted horn button.
