My microswitch that controls the lights within the trunk is flaking out and I'm wondering how easy it is to replace (and where it is located) I did the 30 sec. quick look and didn't see anything that resembled a switch so any advice anyone can offer would be much appreciated.

It is kinda inside the trunk lid. You have to take out about 10 or so screws that attach the cover. You should be able to see it then.

Altogether 13 screws plus another 2 off the hazard triangle holders.
Then 2 more screws from the locking mechanism.
Unhooked the black plastic/leather flap, you will see the micro switch.
It cost about $18 or so. Good Luck.
