I see them online at prices from $20 to $172...? Any brands to avoid? Or stick with? I figured I'd avoid cheapest...

Car is a 2003 V6 4Mo wagon fwiw.

I think almost all of the aftermarket parts are Chinese made thus makes actually not much difference. Don't pay much attention to the online prices. Of course they try to rip you off as much they can. If very low prices bother you then you can buy the ones with moderate pricing. That's usually what I do.

I installed some (owner supplied) cheap eBay wheel speed sensors for a guy and they appeared to be identical to the OEM parts that came off.

Replaced the front right abs sensor on my b5 with an $11 new one from amazon. Worked perfectly.
