Hi guys I have a question. I have Passat b5.5 Avant 1.9TDI and I want to buy wheels from Passat b8. Wheels are r18 7.5J and ET 51. Will I have a problem?

With that high offset front wheel will foul inboard suspension .

Spaces required hubcentric with longer bolts plus at rear too , go extra 5mm at the back .

All assuming B8 have same PCD .

PCD and center bore are the same 5x112 and 57.1mm

Yes, will need spacers. With a 15x6.5 wheel, ET is 37, stock. You'll need at least 12mm up front, 17mm out back. Bolts need to be that much longer as well.

I've ET 47 7.5"J B6 wheels and offset perfection is achieved with 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers , so my suggestion to the OP is 20mm front and 25mm rear .
