Just wondering something..... Gonna be replacing my spark plugs soon (40k service) and I need to know which ones to use??? The car is gonna be chipped in 2 weeks (upsolute0.9 bar). With so many out there I need some advice :???:

I think you are fine with teh Bosch OE replacements. DOn't go to the dealer, they are ~$12-14 each there, and more like $4-$5 each online

Check locally for a set of Bosch plugs! Part number: F7LTCR

You should be able to find them at any Discount Auto Parts or NAPA in Florida bro. If not, then you can use an online vendor like the one's recommended by dac2800.

You can also run NGK plugs. Part number: PFR6Q gapped at .032

IIRC NGK plugs are OE on the 1.8t. I don't know about the V6. I am running Bosche Platnum +4. They've been running strong for 8-9k miles, no problems. I got my plugs at Pep Boys for around 30 bucks. (I have a V6 though)

My car is a '99 variant 1.8t. So, which one is oem??? Bosch/ngk???

From the information I have read on this forum, Bosch were only OE on the AEB engine. I don't know what code you have, but either should work fine.
