i know its like 32psi when the tire is on the car

but what is it off of the car ( with no weight on it)

I would think that it wouldn't make a difference...

I guess an easy way to check would be to check the tire while on the car and then jack up one corner at a time and check.

tire pressure should go down very slightly i think, because when weight is on the car the tire gets squashed just a little, decreasing volume and increaseing pressure. however, this flattening of the tire should be very very little if the tire had the correct tire pressure to begin with. im not sure, do what notapreppie said to

Does the volume really go down though?
I would think that the tire would just deform (like a baloon) in such a manner as to maintain the same pressure (squeeze on one end of a balloon and the other deforms).

Now I'm curious. I'll have to check this out when I get home.
