I am doing a few data plots for an experiment with diffrent gas types

can anyone tell me the highest and lowest in degrees the timeing can go

I think 12.x is the max (what i have seen so far).

the highest i've seen on my car was 12.8! but after a certain point, you'll get a DTC saying that you've exceeded the knock retard allowed, or something like that.

it may not be correct but my obdII scaner is returning values as high as 42 and as low as -15

its under the Timing adv, Deg feild?

are we comparing apples and oranges?

On my vag-com, I have seen 36 degrees advance at highway speeds - seems like when there is a SLIGHT lift from throttle. I know i have seen 0 degrees, on the low side.

on mine i get a range from +42 to -15
