New clutch, timing belt, and a Phaeton roof antenna. :)

Cam chain tensioner is next to fix an annoying ticking sound. That's been it besides an oil change- busier than normal year, but I crested 80k mi. too.

In less than a calendar year from today I have...

Replaced TRE
Prevenative Maintence timing belt
Replaced al breaks but only 2 rotors
Driver's Headlight Casing & bulbs (due to a wiring short)
3 oil changes (one was 1500 miles with a fram filter that didn't filter oil)
3rd break light (center window light)

and the not needed...
rims and tires

I needed help from a shop for my tie rod ends and due to a lack of time Rices is taking care of the timing belt/water pump/belts fot $700. Other than that, she is still the same car.

2003 "GL" 5 speed; had it for 10 days.

1) Changed oil to 5W-30 Royal Purple.

2) Added H&R OE Sport springs with existing dampers.

3) Removed front anti-sway bar when I did the springs.

4) Added a green filter panel.

5) Changed DV to Bosch 114 or TT "N" valve.

Parts en route.

sub-frame tie bar from a 2001 A4 5 speed.

N75 race valve (I am not chipped). Having a couple PSI spike may be worth the desired increase in ramp flow from the K03 Sport. Hope my AWM doesn't go into limp.

APR snub mount.

Exhaust gaskets and hardware for pending personalized down pipe mod. ;)

Am contemplating whether or not to order up an A6 stress bar for up top. Still need to check fitment. I like stealth mods using as many factory parts as possible vs. aftermarket.

The suspension now is as it should've come from the factory, IMHO.

If the bug bites bad, AWE's turbo kit may have to be ordered. :)

Nearly two months ago now, I got a used Passat. 2002 wagon. I was sick and lost my other car because I couldn't make payments.
So far. 1. Oil change
2. Interior clean
3.New Battery
4. Spark plug replacement
5. Coolant sensor replacement
6. Timing belt replacement
7. Water Pump Replacement
8. Head light bulb replacement
Crank oil seal replacement will have to wait because I need the car soon, need a Fuel door replacement, a hood bar what ever it's called, and new tires.
It's not easy but I'm enjoying learning..

Nice thread resurrection. If you have any clunks, plan on replacing the rubber top shock mounts, motor mounts and the snub mount. Look for bad control arm joints then and replace as needed.

Zombie thread, but I'll play along.

Valve cover gasket and coolant temperature sensor flange. Back to working like a champ.

Oh man this past year I disassembled my 2000b5 to do a wire tuck and 5speed swap and a b5.5 front
Got the car into pieces and wel it’s sat on jacks for ohhh going on 14 months
Basically quick the project no time with three young ones running around
