are thos holes use to suck more air into the car? if yes, I am thinkin about to get a tube , and lead more air to the side mount intercooler. does both side [front and rear ] of the intercooler suck in air?

if your talking about the gratting between the solid bars of the intercooler, all those do are to have air pass through between the solid passageways to cool it, that is the point of the intercooler.

Yup just like a radiator or a heat exchanger. Air passes through the foils cooling the air or liquid in side the foils. If you want to boost the efficiency of the intercooler look into a mister.

Don't make this into a 'sandpaper' thread! Do NOT advise someone to drill holes in their intercooler!
Sandpaper won't work. ;)
