Just got home to find ALOT of water in the pax floor area. I was gone for a week and it rained heavily for a few days. No other signs of water leakage. Tomorrow I'll check the firewall area for ventilation drains or others that be be clogged.

If you haven't already figured it out by now, it's probably your drain plug. It's likely clogged.

The opening on the bottom of the drain hose has an opening similar to a Camelback backpack's water bladder hose. Debris can get stuck in there. You can do what was done to mine, cut the bottom of your drain hose, and the problem's solved.

Hope that helps.

(I also recently went through this, and I've had no issues to date since the line has been trimmed.)

Thanx for the reply. Found a good YouTube video that explained the location of the plenum drains and sunroof drains. Combo culprits. Having to take off the wiper arms to get below the plastic, I guess I F'd something up. Voltage to the motor, but no wipey. Those B6 windshield wiper motors are expensive.

Hey I had been going through similar issues and tried all the usual suspects and for the life of me could not find the leak. My car is right hand drive so may be different experience to yours. However, What I ended up figuring out was that under the rain cowl where fresh air goes into the air vent which is protected by the plastic mesh, there is a sort of turtle-shell that shuts when you have recirculation selected on your aircon. When you turn your car off with just normal air-con on the turtle shell opens to pull fresh air in. The problem is if you park your car outside and live in a wet area then water can come through the air vent, passed the blower motor and into the passenger well.

Now I just have to make sure I have recirculation selected before turning the car off to ensure the shell is down.

Has anyone else had this issue?
