I need to have a new key coded to my car. Can someone recommend a VW dealership in the DC metro area, preferable in VA? Does anyone have recent experience with this? Wondering what the expected cost is. I've read on this forum .5 to 1 hour.

Call Lindsay near Dulles or Springfield and ask them. Any of the others in the area will rip you off. Stay far far away from Fairfax.

In VA, go to Lindsay

I called both Springfield and Dulles. The cost to program a key at Lindsay in Dulles was 50% of what Springfield is charging. Thanks guys.

Late to the party..but I third Lindsey I purchased all my cars from Fairfax only because of one dude who was my salesguy...aftger he went to Lindsey, so did I.
