For anyone interested in a good source for VW/Audi information (with some Porsche thrown in), there is a very good magazine named "Gute Fahrt". Although it is only published in German, the publisher does offer foreign subscriptions, which currently cost EUR 37 for 12 months (i.e. 12 issues). Go to www.gute-fahrt.de and click on the link "Abo-Service". Subscription payments can be made via credit card.

When I bought my '88 Golf CL diesel in Germany (Autohaus Warnke in Tarmstedt), I got a free subscription to that mag - it's pure VW/Audi propaganda, but hey, the price was right. 37 Euros seems a bit steep to me for something like that...
