i saw the vogtland spring on ebay and i was wondering if the drop looked good on regular shock and if it s safe for the car..by the way i have a 2002 v6 passat

I have the Koni sport kit that comes with the Vogtland springs and the drop is just a hair less then 1.5" This is on my 02 1.8.

The drop looks good, but the springs are way too soft to be classifed as a sport kit.

but the koni sport kit has stock shocks?

My 04 V6 Tip with 16" Vancouvers dropped 2" with the Koni Sport Kit. It looks about the same as Rambicho's in his link, above.

However, the dominant opinion on pw, as I interpret it, is that you are best off changing the shocks with the springs.
