well im interested to know also cause on my glx 2003 v6 30v my ignition wires started going bad at around 7500 miles.

i only got 11.5k on my passat little over 1yr old and the #2 ignition wires melted. so the dealer says.

i think its completely rediculous.

What is the advantage to getting aftermarket ignition wiring? I wouldn't imagine there is any performance gain is there?

Are there a variety of "sizes" available for the V6? If so, which are the ideal size to get? I know from my buddies small block chevy you can get three or so different sizes. For the life of me I can't recall why larger is better in this case.

Better insulation/isolation is allways better + what kind of purity of conducting wire is used.
Do not expect HP gains like some are advertising.
