Oh yeah, you have fun with that. :p
Not exactly how I want to spend the day, but my water pump is seeping. Was hoping to go another 15k when TB was due. Now it gets done early. Stocked up on oil filters again, so I'm in good shape until 245,000 miles.

Better me spending my day than giving someone else a grand to do it.

Got done replacing the DV and noticed the passenger side CV boot finally went at 62500 miles. Looks like I have more work to do. I did the drivers side at 50k and have been watching the passenger side. I replaced the drivers side with a rebuild from Napa. The guy who rebuilds them for them does a really good job and puts a good boot on them. I will go the same route for the passenger side. Hard to beat $50 with a life time warranty. I also like the fact that when you buy a rebuild it is the original axle and not some china made, light weight, POS. Why does everything that is rubber on this car turn to *%@#$. I have never seen vacuum hoses or CV boots deteriorate like this on any other car. It is almost like the rubber is engineered to fail so they can make money maintaining these vehicles.

Wow, all my rubber is good, but mine's only an 04, so age really hasn't creeped in much yet.

My boots lasted to about 125k, I was low on cash when it happened, so I got the import set from Advanced Auto for $80 or so each. 100k later, one is starting to make some noise. I'll have to look for the receipt for the "lifetime" warranty. I'm hoping they don't give me any crap if I can't find it. Auto Zone is two blocks away and NAPA is three.

My original hoses and all are still in perfect shape.
