Did anyone happen to get the Ultimate Fighting Championship 47 pay-per-view this weekend? All I can say is WOW . Almost every fight was great! And then the main event...Tito Ortiz vs. Chuck Liddell.....HOLY S*$T!!

It was worth every penny of the $29.95. Not a peep out of the wife because she enjoyed every minute of it. :D

I saw it. Only 1 fight went the distance. It was a great UFC.

It makes me sad to see someone I knew and competed with lose like that. Tito is a better fighter than that. He looked flat footed and tentative. Liddell has a lot of weak spots. He is a ex-professional kickboxer so standing flat in front of him with no angles and no foot movement was a mistake. I knew within the first 10 seconds Tito was in trouble. Liddell was loose and relaxed. Tito's ego and game plan got in his way. He needs to sideline his big head and get back to what made him a winner. His intelligence. Playing into someones strengths will get you a lose 99% of the time at that level.

I might just have to go beat the crap out of him to teach him a lesson.

You're right. Even though I like the Iceman, it was rough to see Tito bloody and beaten down. Tito tried to play Chuck's game and it cost him. He's a ground and pound specialist and he got away from what got him there.

With loses now to Couture and Liddell, Tito needs to lose the ego and get back to basics!

Yep.
Tito tried to out wrestle a better/smarter wrestler. Couture is the man. And the end result was a lose.
Tito tried to out punch a better boxer. And the end result was a lose.

His corner is as much to blame as him. They should have come in with a better game plan. Tito didn't use any of this advantages on Liddell, and he payed for it. I think Tito needs to go train with Militich to learn a little humbling. He has been surrounded by people feeding into his ego too much.

Back to Basics!!!
