I went to reset my trip odometer (LCD display under main odometer) and the button presses in but it doesn't reset it. I have searched and it appears no one else has had this problem. 2002 B5.5....any ideas? I am sure to fix it I'd have to rip the whole dash out :(

So there are three trip odometers on the 02 B5.5. You're talking about the one by the total mileage display? And which button are you pressing? You should be pressing in the long, thin dial to reset it.

Yes the one by the total mileage (not in the stalk). Yes the car has 120,000km, and I have owned it 6 years now, and I am pressing the long thin black button. I have used it many times in the past without a problem.

I did hear a little click so I am wondering if something cracked on the inside of the button....
