Right i know the best trim level for a Passat is the highline? Now these seem to hold there money v well. Im thinking of getting a V6 TDI however i wouldnt mind a 130TDI with similar trim level ie. Alcantra/Leather seats, Xenons, Cruise, tinted windows and rear parking sensors. What trim level of the TDI130 would i need ot be looking for to get these options?

Done some basic research on this for you ref:model year 2004 passat brochoure, don't be fooled by the highline its a bit of a myth, from what I can gather best trim is Sport, the levels are S, SE, Highline, Sport. The highline and Sport offer diffrent levels eg sport offers sports suspension, optional sports seat, sports s wheel, rain sensor and fogs as standard but th highline offers, leahter as standard, special highline wheels and diffrent levels of equipment. I think you should be looking at a Sport I reckon you'll get all of the above. REMEMBER depending which model year your after will depend on spec levels. Just in the last year the all the models have been spec'd up to sell off old shape so go for it........

P.S I have a 2001 se tinted windows where standard eqiup on mine and cruise can be fitted as an after market for around 100£ using genuine vw parts. Xenon lights where only standard equip on W8 but optional on all other models.

Hope this helps Jay

Ah Cheers Jay that helps!!! Surprising though how the higline holds the money the best. Prob as you said a bit of a myth with it. Will look for sport, or possibley any other with options fitted. Ideally looking for somthing on 03plate. Will keep looking through Autotrader to get idea on prices etc.
Yeah Elton know you taxi your car (its to nice for a taxi!!! lol )hence V6 wouldnt be the best but i would like a V6 pmsl. Yours is Very high spec Elton how much trouble did u find one with such high spec? As if i didnt bother going V6 i would like the same spec as yours, but maybe auto too lol.

Whats the W8 interior light console like?
Elton what some pics of yours up agian mate, had a looky but couldnt find them lol.

nice car bro,
ive got a 2004 highline estate, with full heated leather all round elec windows, parking sensors, climate control, with others planed,

just a quick question to elton,
what size wheels / tyres are you running?
and is the car lowered at all,
cheers.
elton do you really use that as a taxi?
that is a damn nice taxi if you do!

is the w8 light mod a pain to do?
Yes and thanks. :)

The w8 light mod is simple, and takes about 20 mins to do a perfect job, 10 if you just throw it in.
