Done some basic research on this for you ref:model year 2004 passat brochoure, don't be fooled by the highline its a bit of a myth, from what I can gather best trim is Sport, the levels are S, SE, Highline, Sport. The highline and Sport offer diffrent levels eg sport offers sports suspension, optional sports seat, sports s wheel,rain sensor and fogs as standard but th highline offers, leahter as standard, special highline wheels and diffrent levels of equipment. I think you should be looking at a Sport I reckon you'll get all of the above. REMEMBER depending which model year your after will depend on spec levels. P.S I have a 2001 se tinted windows where standard eqiup on mine and cruise can be fitted as an after market for around 100£ using genuine vw parts. Xenon lights where only standard equip on W8 but optional on all other models.
