I have a 1998 1.8t 5 speed, it's was an abandoned project and I took it over.
Had to replace brake master, slave and some switches, a goofy hydraulic line from the fluid res to the trans,
This hydraulic hose will not stay put. As it builds pressure it just pops out.
I see nothing broken maybe I'm just missing a step please and thank you

I guess you mean to the clutch MC, as that is the only line from the brake fluid reservoir.
There is no pressure on that line (unless you are pressure bleeding), put a clamp on it.
