Driving to work this morning I got a check engine light and I drove into an autozone I got a P 0706 code. It has to do with a tranny sensor

"Transm.Range Sensor Circ Range/Performance"

How do I fix it where can I get the part and is this easy to fix?

Turn ignition to on, press brake and hold, the when you move the gear shift lever from P to R to N to D to 4 etc, does the MFD display the correct transmission gear corresponding to where the shift lever is? If yes, reset the CEL and see if it comes back.

If no (gear display does not match gear selector position), then you'll want to check the connector to the Multifunction Transmission Range Switch for corrosion. If still a problem, then you'll want to check the wiring harness and connector to the TCM for corrosion. If still a problem then its problably the switch that needs replaced. The switch is located on the driver's side of the transmission case. The TCM is under the passenger's front carpet.
