JEEEEZ!! I bought a 3/8" drive torque wrench (cheapie) for the
smaller and finer work, and I gotta say... using that thing is
friggen confusing! It says inches per lb. and something else
in metric kgs??? LOL!! Don't they just make a smaller beam
type!? Sheesh!! I'm gonna throw this goddamn thing into
Portland harbor!!
So, I need some help in using this thing. And help in deciphering
the spring/thing on the bottom too. I'm assuming it's for zero-ing out.
Anyway, trying to figure out 7 ft lbs. on this thing so I can fix
my leaky valve cover gasket.
7 ft lbs. = 84 inches right? But the scale only goes from 120 to
960 in. lbs., and the scale on the handle only goes 0 to 8.
Hmmmm maybe I f*ed up and need a different wrench. And those
Craftsman digitals are soooo nice and expensive too.
