Tinted the side markers

I have heard that the bulbs in those side markers cause the tint to bubble or melt.
Do keep us posted if this happens. I am very interested in doing this mod.

They do look kick ass!!! :thumbup:

I HAVE TRIED to take that junk off..HOw do you do it.? Fartherest I get is a spring when i push it in on one side....=/
help me outz

I just popped the lenses out, wiped them down really well with Prepsol and used a can of Nite Shades. I made a jig out of a 2 x 2 by drilling 4 holes in it the size of the outcrops on the back of the lense. Then put all 4 in the jig and gave them 3 coats each predried with a hair dryer ..

Can says leave them for 6 hours to dry .. I left them 2 hours and no problems.

I've had my tinted tails for almost 2 years no problem, tinted sidemarkers and bumper markers for 6 months, no problem
