Look at Malone for TDI tunes. That said, if you have any warranty left, they can only legally deny warranty coverage on a repair if the increased HP and TQ caused the failure of a given part. Like, they can't deny coverage on a dead battery or water pump because a tune wouldn't affect that.
If you're planning on keeping the car I would recommend having the recall software update performed first then have the tuning software from Malone installed as VAGguy suggested. Great reputation in the TDI community.
I can only recommend a tune. I had my TDI tuned and have only enjoyed it more.
