i just installed this thomas hallman horn and i really like it. Its just a nice soft chirp, and a lot better then the OEM horn. They have a video on the site too if you want to hear what it sounds like. They also give you instructions on how to change the tones for the horn, unfortunately its by cutting wires. So if you didnt like the tone you would have to wire it back together. But like i said i like it, its a cheap and simple fix. :thumbup::thumbup:

Never liked those very much, I believe it's just a standard aftermarket multi-tone alarm, probably can get them anywhere really cheap.

Is there a way to install an alarm that will go off if someone scratches the car. Some looser popped 2 of my tires this weekend. 360 degree motion camera anyone?:lightsaber:

yea i could have went that route but i dont have a vagcom nor will i have one soon, so for me this was the way to go. That tone sounded annoying to me anyway

there are aftermarket systems you can get that you can adjust the sensitivity. and some can get very sensitive, even the slightest movement will set it off

VAG-Com is only to change the sound.

And annoying is the point... Annoying gets attention. Mass market common alarm "chirps" don't.
