I have 2012 Volkswagen Passat S. Recently i received a TPMS alert..I added the air per the specs given in the door (29 PSI)... But it still the alert is not removed..so i clicked the Set button and it went. Is this the right way?
Surprised no one has offered you any advice. When you say you hit the "SET" button, is that the one in the glove compartment? If so, then all you are telling the computer that this is the new pressure it is supposed to monitor. It will now monitor 29 PSIG and when it goes down you get the alert. Me thinks you may have a slow leak somewhere. Tire, rim? It is not a fix !
Just curious my 2015 tells me that the comfort ride is 33 PSIG.
I'm considering purchasing a nice set of 17" Denver wheels to put on my 2003 Passat Wagon. I've seen a few photos of folks that have put Detroit wheels on their Passat, but I can't seem to find any with Denvers. Anyone have a pic they can post? Thanks!
Wondering if these will fit, they are 18"x8, 57.1 Center Bore with a +41 offset. I think they will, however what would be a reasonable size tire to run without throwing the speedo off too much, and preventing rubbing?
I've got a great set of OEM Madras I run in the good weather. I have the factory VW logo center caps, but would rather run a BBS logo. Does anyone know exactly what part I would look for or where to get them. Thanks in advance.
This is the opportunity for you to review a tire you own or have alot of expierence with. I would recommend the following format for the review:
1. The Brand/Model and Size ( Example: Goodyear Eagle F1 225/45R17) Also can include price and where purchased.
2. Tell us about your driving style.(...
Hello. I have Continental ContiViking Contact 5.
I noticed that the wheels on the left side have the pattern opposite way than on the right. What is right here? The tires dont habe an direction arrow. For me it seems that the tire on left side is correct.
