How durable is window tinting?

If I tint, will my dog scratch it off or make it look really bad?

Anyone have experience with this?

The dog will scratch the tint. It also depends on the dog. If it's a Jack russell don't even think about it. 8)

get the tint and one of the cages for the trunk if ur a vairant, otherwise, why is the dog in the car :wink:

My dog doesn't bother the tint .. then again she doesn't put her feet on the windows. You could alsi short leash the dog in the back seat. I have a leash around the drop down rear arm rest that keeps her from reaching the doors.

My dog has never sratched my tint. If your dog is well trained it shouldn't be sratching away at your window. How much time to plan on having your dog spend in your car?

Thanks for all the replies so far.

To clarify a few things:
- Variant
- Labrador Retriever
- Divider between seats and back (no flying canine :wink: )
- Dog only rides occasionally, but for an extended trip of a few hours (with breaks).

I was also thinking the collar and tags could scratch the tint, but I could take these off when in the car.
