Hi Gang, I am in the middle of doing a Throttle Body cleaning on my 01 V6 and I noticed a decent amount of oil on the inside of the PVC pipe that connects to the TB, once I got the TB off I noticed a decent amount of oil in the intake plenum... When I look at the end of the PCV hose that connects to the PVC pipe it looks pretty clogged up... I am assuming that this would mean I need a new PCV system but I am concerned at the amount of oil that could have gotten into the intake. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks!

Here are some pics

That's the way the V6 works, a little bit of oil being fed into the TB and intake plenum is normal. The baffles on the valve covers are designed to stop most of the oil vapor in the valvetrain from being blown through the PCV system, but a little bit coming through is just the way of the beast.

As long as it's not copious amounts of oil everything will be fine.

Thanks boss! I think it is time for a new PCV... I will get on that tomorrow probably. Just wanted to make sure the oil was normal!
