I don't think it's that bad. Not my cuppa tea, but I do like matte paints and at least it's unique. There are far uglier mods receiving high praise on this very forum oke:

Based on comparisons to other interior shots I found, it looks real (ie, not a replica). Which makes the jeans seat cover all the more egregious!
