Saw this on TV today; appears they finally opened a store. Reportedly, first person there this weekend can get a free test drive.... I might camp out there on Saturday morning.

since they bought the toyota numi plant to build their cars in.

while toyota was laying off everyone,tesla was hiring. lol

They got alot of tax breaks to put that plant in Nummi, originally they didn't want ti because it was too big. Toyota laid off something like 29,000 people IIRC and Tesla is aiming at hiring 5,000 for that plant currently.

Where is the new store? My office is at Santana Row and I have no idea where they put it!

It's a misprint. They don't charge YOU for test drives, but they have to charge THE CAR. :lol:

I just checked it out, it's TINY (for a car dealership)! Looks like they have room for 2 cars and miscellaneous swag (shirts, trinkets, etc.). It's a few doors down from Straights. Poor planning on their part, since there's no street parking directly in front of the store, they have to put their test car a few doors down from the store, not directly in front.

I was going to take pics, but they had some sort of opening event and I didn't want to look like a choad (well more than normal).
