Has anyone here heard about this race? It's been put on for two years now and a one hour special of the 2003 race was on local TV last night. I now know what I'd do if I won a small lottery....build a car and enter this!

Imagine racing through small towns, villages and along a coastal highway on public roads that have been closed just so you can blast through as fast as you can to the next stage!! The winner last year was a '72 BMW Bavaria with the engine from an M5 stuffed into it and with fully rally suspension!

Sean Hyland came in 2nd in the modern modified class. He lives in nearby Woodstock, ON. He was on the local radio station today talking about the race and how a bad tank of fuel cost him 1st place. But he was quite proud of the fact that he got the most air of any car in the race! Here's a related pic of his 'stang in action:

Cool! I was born in Woodstock and lived in Norwich until I was 5.
