I getting grey haired... the tailgate on our B5 variant is leaking and nead to be changed. But the new hatch didn't have any handle left on it.
Our handle is stuck really bad in the lock mechanic it self. Yes I have removed the square spring - its off. The lock is loose - but gets stuck in some corners on the lock cylinder part in the handle itself!! And one of the four screws that is attached to the handle went broke.
So my question is if the outside plastic handle (with number plate lights) is the same for saloon/sedan models as well as for variants? Ours is a variant.
