Maybe, but not in a good way. A larger bar in the rear can make the front feel too light. That is why they are frequently sold in pairs. It's usually not a cheap, simple way to a well balanced car. But if you want to play with rear bars I can think of worse ways to spend time and money. If on the other hand you're looking for a beginning point for suspension mods I would encourage you think about wheels and tires. E.g. do you want to run serious summer tires or stick with all-season rubber? Everything begins where the rubber meets the road, after-all.

For my purposes the H&R 24mm rear sway bar flattens out the car at normal or slightly over the speed limit speeds.
