Pulled the plugs to take a look before work yesterday, and found Champions in there. Bought 4 NGKs and the idle seems smoother, and the throttle response seems better as well. I'll Seafoam it and change the oil in the next few days. Got a quote of $600 for parts & labor on a timing belt change, including the accessory belt, tensioner, pulley, and thermostat. Does that sound reasonable?

$600 is about what to expect for a change. At Eich motors here in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, they charge $550 for all the timing belt service minus the waterpump.

Could do it yourself + waterpump/coolant for $235 though...

Make sure when you sea foam it you have the old plugs in. You'll gunk up your new plugs from burning all that built up carbon out.

Really? I've never had this problem before, I've seafoamed 5 different cars.
