I was trying to take my old battery out since i bought a replacement and somehow stripped the bolt on the positive side. Any takers on how to fix this? The square end is spinning around because of the soft lead.

Grab the square end with the appropriate size wrench, or use a vise-grips to grab it.

Used some needle nose pliers and a 10mm socket but to no avail. Seems that bastard is stuck. -7 degrees outside is definately no help either. So took it to the shop. Just waiting to hear back and i hope its not the starter thats bad

Forget the needle nose pliers, get the Vise Grips.

If you can't seem to get the bolt to break loose, cut it in the middle with a hacksaw and buy another bolt.
