i have a 2000 passat 1.8 t auto trans sedan.when i turn the key on after about 15 seconds i get the stop brake failure lite followed by 3 beeps.i also found the 40 amp fuse under the hood box blown.when i turn the key nothing happens.the 40 amp fuse has been replaced also a new battery was installed.old one bad.can anyone tell or help me on this?what is the 40 amp fuse for,how come i get nothing when turning the key,and what is with the stop brake failure light.any info would be of great help in trying to get my car back on the road.thanks.
