Anyone here know the in & outs of SQL Express 2005 & NET Framework?
I'm trying to run some old 32 bit software from 2006 that requires SQL Express .NET Framework.
I'll admit I'm trying to run it on a Windows 10 (64bit) machine.
I keep getting SQL errors on install.
Can this be done?

Think I might have answered my own question(s).

The application that I'm trying to use doesn't use the WOW64, but the SQL Setup won't finish until that WOW64 passes and seeing as I'm running a 64bit rig, it's quite obvious this will NEVER work.

Man do I hate computers.

I know my initial question asked about SQL Express 2005...
After hammering away at this for more than 5 hours, it was discovered that there was a KB fix for SQL Express 2005 and SQL 2008 Express had the cumulative updates.
In my quest to make this old software run, I was willing to try anything.
Blime, stymied again. :(
Did I mention I really hate computers?
