Sony Xplod Sub & Amp to Stock Monsoon HU.

So I just bought a sony xplod sub & amp off of a friend. I have a 2005 Passat GLS Sedan, and I have the double din monsoon HU. I would really like to keep the stock head unit. I use the cd mag, and I also just don't like the look of after market HU's. I know there is an amp for the monsoon located in the trunk, if I get a LOC can I splice my rear speakers, remote, off of that? and then the only cable I would run through my cabin is my power source? I'm new at this and I'm a starving college kid, so any help that won't ruin my car would be greatly appreciated.
