Greetings all, I recently removed the front for service on my 03 V6 and I have a question on the snub plate. Does the snub sit on the bottom of the plate somewhat supporting the engine or does it sit center making contact only at the front of the snub? When I removed the front, I had difficultly as the snub was sitting tight with the plate bottom. I now centered it and the engine now idles smoother. What do you think? Thanks

The snub should not be resting on the bottom of the plate supporting the engine.
The rule of thumb is let the engine center the mount in the bracket. Snug up the bolts holding the snub bracket (the bracket attached to the core support) then start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. Turn the engine off and tighten the bracket bolts. Done.
Center or just above center but not touching the top of the bracket works best for me with a manual transmission. Along with a APR snub.
