I just picked up the spray paint kit from the dealer. I get home ready to start spraying take a look at it and it says Platinum Grey which is a Jetta color that isnt the same as silverstone as far as I can tell. This is the second time they screwed this up with the paint I should have looked before I went home...

That's what the part's dept. guy said the silverstone was to me to, platinum grey. I didn't buy it, but he said if I could give him my vin# he could double check it. Sorry I don't have a part#

I purchased some spray touch-up paint a year ago and using the code from the door (it on a placard somewhere), the can was labeled "Urban Grey/Gray"--which is what I guess this color is called in Europe.

I thought it was kind of cool that the kit came with both color and clearcoat spray.

Urban Grey would be the correct color.

You can goto drewparts or PM blownaway and they can get you the right kit at a discount.
