Are these replacement headlight bulbs? or what?
^Are brighter than the stock halogens.
I've read a couiple of posts saying these don't last that long though.

Atown: Good lookin' out
Yeh, not sure how long they last, but they have gotten good reviews. Couldn't pass it up for that price. Most places sell them for 39.99 a pair.
I've burnt out 3 of them since February. 2 fogs, 1 lowbeam. It seems all of the aftermarket "brighter than halogen" bulbs have similar issues with life expectancy.
I've had my Silverstars in since April 2004. No issues.
Osram or Sylvania?

I Heart My Osrams :D
Had SilverStars H7s for HI & LO beams, LO's burned out after ~12 months, went back to OEMs, now contemplating PIAA Xtreme Whites. SilverStars on HI's still OK (but then again they get switched on every once in a long while. Too lazy to swap the HI's and LO's ...
Awesome find man! Thanx for the info. Since I got my 173(I think is the number, haha) out of the car to get the DTRL off, my silverstars last MUCH longer. If they brun out too quick? Stop driving at night, HAHA
"The bulb that burns twice as bright burns hallf as long" :D
which bulbs would i need 2 H7s for the low beams and 2 9003s for the high?
Silverstars are P.O.S

I'm not overly impressed by Silverstars either. Slightly brighter than stock but not noticablely whiter and not exactly long lasting either (10 mos with Relay 173 removed).

I got better results out of PIAA Platinum White and Extreme White bulbs which were both brighter and whiter (although they too pale when compared to HID).
Same here. I love my Piaa's. Well worth the money. 2 years and still going

I've got Osram (not Sylvania) Silverstars now, but if they go I am switching to Hoens

Sylvania is owned by Osram, but Osram makes better lighting products. My electrician swears by them. The Osram lights are also a little harder to find. I bought mine from PowerBulbs in the UK for $48 shipped for all 4 headlight bulbs. They also threw in the little peanut bulbs for the corners. I've had them in for over a year and they're still going strong.
Where can you get the PIAA bulbs? are they expensive? my stock headlights are not bright enough and driving at night isn't fun.
