So it's finnaly come time to lower my baby again and my front passenger side coil is seized :thumbdown and I've run out of ideas . . . I've tried using PB blaster, cans of air, vice grips, raising it . . . and yes I did clean it thouroughly before trying to lower it. I'm at the point where I'm starting to tear away at the purple plastic peice and you can't even recognize what it is.

I have KW V1s if that makes a difference. Any help is greatly appreciated!

mine do this everytime :)

you need a hammer and a pick/punch. liquid wrench is optional.

something like this for the punch. but you can be creative and use what you have

just put the punch on the collar and hit it with a hammer and it will come loose. liquid wrench helps when the threads are dirty as moving the collar through dirty threads is a pain in the ass. gl

haha yea, if only kyle were here :p then again I thought those words would never come out fo my mouth.

Anyways, would detaching the bottom bolt and trying to twist it potentially work?

Make sure you have a heavy enough hammer when using the chisel tool. Mine were stuck and when I used a pretty heavy hammer, i got it loose. Just make sure you don't hit your fender on your back swing and mess up the collar too much. My buddy messed up his collars pretty bad when he did his...still able to adjust but not as easy...
