New guy here. Apologies if this question has already been asked, but I couldn't find anything. I have a 32GB SD card, loaded with 2,565 songs (9.9GB). No problem at all using this card in my 2013 Passat TDI Highline. I've gotten rid of my TDI, and replaced it with almost exactly the same car - 2013 Passat Highline (gas). The problem is the audio system on the "new" car cannot read everything on my SD card. The manual says it can handle a 32GB card, and, as said above, I only have 9.9GB loaded onto this card.

In order for my current car to read all 2,565 songs, I need to divide them into four folders, however the system will not randomly select a song from any folder. It will only randomly select songs within one folder. I need to manually select another folder, and then again, the system will only randomly choose songs within that folder.

I've looked for corrupt file extensions, and other causes. But I can't find any problems. And, like I said, this used to work fine in my TDI.

Does anybody have a suggestion to remedy this? TIA.

How is your card formatted? You may need to reformat it as FAT32.
