I noticed some small scuff marks on the passenger side wheels this morning. They were fresh from my morning drive. I did drive a little more spirited this morning then usual, but I know I didnt brush a curb. Can "spirited" corning cause scuffs on the lips of wheels? The marks are roughly an inch or so.

Guess it comes with the territory
Ja. Gotta keep in mind that your car is constantly getting sprayed with minute debris from the tires of the car in front of you, and bigger wheels with thinner tires put the rims closer to the surface of the road, where there's statistically going to be more sand and grit still up in the air from the last car that drove by. That, and tires that don't shield the edge of the rim from curbs won't do anything to block sand, either.
