Bought some of the ones off ebay and they are junk quality, and every seller seems to be selling the same ones. Anything out there that isn't?

Stock adjusters are froze and I'm not sure how they would come out, otherwise I may consider swapping over the adjusters and lenses.

I'm doing my own projector retro, so buying Depo projectors will be a waste.

My 1996 A4 had terminal cataracts, so I replaced the original 3-piece headlights with 1-piece Depos. I had to cut away the internal flanges on the front fenders (trivial) and re-engineer the connectors (not difficult), but I am delighted with the outcome -- $130 very well spent.

I'm not really looking to switch to a 1 piece style, I like the 4 piece I have now.

Did you get stock style with clear lens, or did you go with a projector style?

For my 2000, I bought OEM Hellas. Same quality as factory. Everything else is markedly lower quality; but if you're going to modify them extensively anyway, what difference does it make?

The difference is the quality of the plastic. The one I bought the black back half is flimsy and soft. The rubber pieces that connect the adjuster to the chrome reflector don't fit tight. I can silicone the adjuster piece on, but nothing I can do about the other part.
