Anyone know a good place to find Recaro seats at a descent price? I'm looking at the Style seat in black leather and fabric with the comfort package. I sat in one of these before and I fell in love. :heart: Thanks.

I want to know where I can buy these seats:

seat heating
- electric height adjustment
- electric recline adjustment
- electric lumbar support adjustment
- electric seat length adjustment
- side airbag
- back seat with RECARO design
- etc.

Tis right, and Julian you can save $300 and some change if you get the Style in black leather/fabric instead of all leather like the one above. Still alot, but there is nothing like this seat. Pure heaven. :bow:

edit: the key difference with the OEM recaro's is the side airbag...

A tuner company by Liberty VW sells an side airbag bypass thing. I can't remember the site though. will update

I've been thinking about seats also. What about airbags and mounting. If I take out my air bag seats will my front airbags still work? Also, how graceful would the mounting be. I have been tring to track down some of the Audi S series seats for mine but would buy a Recaro!

It's called a 4.7 ohm (not Kohm), 1/2 or 1/4 watt, 5% tolerance resistor. The guys on Vortex say 1/2 watt, but I have been using a 1/4 watt just fine.

Do Jetta seats fit in the Passat or are they different sizes? Jetta GLI's come with some pretty sick Recaros. My friend was just here, had them in his 2003. They were awesome. Not sure if Jettas have side airbag or not.
