Hi.

I'm trying to remove the dealership sticker off the back of my B5.5 Passat and having a real heck of a time trying to get it off. Can anyone recommend something I can do or use to remove the sticker. It's a metallic backing type of sticker if that means anything..

is it a decal?

try using a heat gun(or hair dryer) and some dental floss... or just your finger and a hair dryer if its actually a sticker..

VERY carefully get under it with a razor blade, just enough to pry the edge, then peel it off. Use laquer thinner, or nail polish remover to wipe away the remaining glue.

Then wash the area right away with warm water and soap to remove the thinner / remover. Then wax the area.

Then go use the razor blade on the salesman that put a dealership sticker on your beloved car...

I'd stay away from the razor and laquer thinner and stick with the hair dryer/heat gun technique. Razors around you car's paint job is asking for trouble no matter how steady your hand is.
