I am trying to do the Rear Fog Mod on a 2001.5 B5.5 Passat Variant.

I have a EuroSwitch from Senna  and stock NA Taillights. But, I have plans for Euro W8s Tails.

Every instructions I find says it won't work with a Variant. :???:

Do a search for rear fogs.
I spent a whole hour of searching!!!

If you look above I did find pretty much ALL the mods!

What I need is clairification. I found that these mods will not work with a B5.5 Wagon. I need some to clarify that.

Don't worry it happens.
And thanks for the polite PM.

Hope this helps:

Shows you all you need. Some electrical knowledge required I guess.

I got Euro taillights w/fogs for my Variant from this group buy:

PM Gurft, see if he could hook you up with the vendor or something. That is, if you are willing to spend. The group buy price was $200 shipped.
I think it's worth it. Some of my friends took their U.S.-spec Passats from US to Europe, and for example in Finland VW charges over 300 EUR (~370 USD) for installing the rear fog. Rear fog is required by law over there.

You can just get the Euro holders for 40 bux - however, I believe on a Variant, all you need to do is to break the bridge between the top circle and bottom circle. If you want the "Euro" look - don't put in a diode and when braking, only the top circles light. There was a thread about that a while back specifically for a Variant.
